The championship format is slightly different from a regular dual/tri-meet.

Champs is a two-day meet for most swimmers.

8&under swim ONLY on Saturday.

10&under swim both days in the morning as timed finals.

11&over swim both days prelims with possible finals (12 fastest times from prelims) afternoon both days.

Warm ups for out team will be 8:00 to 8:30. Every team has only two lanes. It is really important that every swimmer arrives on time.

Meet starts at 8:40 both days.

Our theme for this Champs will be PIRATES! 

Don't forget your costume! ARRRRRR ! ! !

This year's parade will be held after the Sunday afternoon warm-ups, before the start of Sunday Finals.

Each team is responsible for providing timers for each session of the meet.

****IMPORTANT**** 

Request from BG maintenance person. Please ask swimmers to allow their sunscreen to dry for 15 minutes before they get into the pool. Just to help keep the water quality up with the heat this weekend.

BG Parks is going to run full concessions inside the pool area. They will have burgers and other real food. It will open at 10 am.

Poco Loco will be on site for the weekend.

There will be plenty of room to place chairs on the south side of the competition pool (slide side). There will be three sets of 3-row bleachers for parents and fans.

The pool is closed to the public this weekend. The lazy river and activity pool will be closed to spectators. 

Coaches will stay on the north side of the pool.

wu/wd:  the slide pool will be available for prelim sessions. Prelims will use all 8 lanes; Finals will use lanes 3-8. Lane 2 will stay empty. Lane 1 will be wu/wd (enter/exit at the steps)

All the tents are white this year, so look for the sign inside the tent.

There will be signs on small stakes that will identify team spots. Teams will be grouped together.
