HOW THE TV WORKS:
· · To watch Satellite TV, get the main Bell remote, and press red ‘TV’ power
button. The TV takes about 12 seconds to come on.
· If the Satellite picture doesn’t come up by itself, on the same remote, select ‘Sat’
at the top, then press red power button.
· If you don’t see the picture from the Satellite, you may need to select the right
input. To do this, use the TV remote, and press Input button until ‘Satellite’ is highlighted. If an error message comes up, just press Select on the Bell remote
· To find a channel, press grey ‘Sat’ button at the top again, press ‘guide’. You will be
taken to a menu with Favourites – move up and down arrows (above and below
‘select’) to select a Favourites option or ‘All Channels’ (turns orange) then use page
up and page down to quickly move through the channels. When you see the one you
want, use the up and down arrows to highlight it (turns brown or blue). To see the
channel, press ‘select’.
· The volume control is just below the TV power buttons.
· To watch a DVD, you’ll need the Panasonic remote. Turn it on using the main red
power button (top left) and open tray with ‘open/close’ button on top of the unit itself.
To select it, go back to the TV remote, press Input and select BD/DVD
- To watch Netflix etc: you are welcome to use our Amazon Firestick, which is plugged into HDMI 1 – select with TV remote Input button, and control with the Firestick remote.
TO USE THE AUDIO SYSTEM
· Turn on with the Panasonic remote, using the main red power button (top left). NB
the TV controls do not work on this remote.
· The volume control is on the right near the top – NOT the top one in a box though!
· To hear DVD audio, it should switch to this automatically when you insert a DVD
· To hear Satellite TV audio, press ‘ipod’ button (one third of the way down, in
middle) repeatedly until ‘D-in’ is indicated on front of unit. You’ll need to mute TV
speakers
· To hear an audio CD, open tray with ‘open/close’ button on top of the unit itself.
Use ‘play’ etc buttons on remote
· To hear the radio, press the ‘ipod’ button (one third of the way down, in middle)
repeatedly until ‘FM’ is indicated on front of unit. You can change the preset
channels with up and down arrows.
