Mill Bay Market - excellent deli and butchers, as well as home bakes and fresh fruit and vegetables. Excellent ice-cream as well. Open 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday 11 to 5

Powassan: Oshell's Valu Mart (705 724-2917) - the nearest supermarket to the cottage, reasonable prices.

North Bay: 45 minutes away, a great selection of stores

Huntsville: 20 minutes further away than North Bay, and a lot smaller, but much prettier!
