I am a Professor in the Physics department at IIT Kanpur. I work on Statistical and Theoretical Biological Physics.
I live with my wife, Indrani, in the campus of IIT Kanpur, one of the most beautiful residential campuses in India.
Our son, Debanjan, graduated from IIT Kanpur (5-year Integrated M.Sc.) in 2010. He now lives in Cambridge,
Massachusetts (USA); In July, 2016, he joined MIT as Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow,
after completing his Ph.D. at Harvard University.
