Course Overview-
The introductory course into the USC Rossier School of Education Master’s of Arts in Teaching Program. It introduces the teacher candidate to the teaching profession and to the RSOE teacher education conceptual framework of teacher leaders as urban change agents. Understanding and mastery of content (instruction, assessment and technology) is documented as evidence to meet selected California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) professional preparation standards and presented through a developing knowledge of instructional techniques. The USC Blackboard Classroom Management System and E-folio journaling is an integral part of this course.
