The Klingon Bird of Prey is one of the most recognized ships in the Star Trek universe. First seen in Star Trek (The Original Series) in the episode "Balance of Terror", it has been seen in five of the Star Trek movies, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Deep Space Nine. There are several different classes of the Klingon Bord of Prey, including the B'rel-class, the K'Vort-class (left), and the D12-class. The B'rel-class is a scout vessel, used for espionage, skirmishes, and raids, while the K'Vort-class is a light cruiser. Both classes are armed with disruptor cannons mounted on the tips of the wings and a forward torpedo launcher. Likewise, both classes are equipped with cloaking devices and are capable of impulse and warp speeds. With a a crew of only twelve and a length of 160 meters, the B'rel-class is far smalled than the K'Vort-class, which measures 320 meters and posesses a crew of 300+.
There are 86 Scout Class vessels of this design in the Klingon Military Fleet, and is the most popular warship in the Klingon Armada. The ship's complement on a Bird of Prey include:

The contents of the weapon locker include 12 hand weapons, 4 phaser rifles, 1 grenade Launcher, 48 grenades, 2 rocket launchers, 6 agonizers, 300 power packs for hand weapons and rifles, 1 antimatter fusion warhead, and one remote trigger for that warhead. There is also a self-destruct device located under the Commander's chair on the bridge. The ship's offensive arsenal includes twin forward-firing wing-mounted disruptor cannons, dual photon torpedo launchers-positioned fore and aft-and deflector shields. On top of all of this, the ships are manned with Klingon soldiers, the finest in the galaxy.
