Building a Bird of Prey

To help familiarize myself with this formidable ship, I decided to reconstruct a Bird of Prey from a 1:350 scale modem kit. This particular kit is manufactured by Round2Models, and can be assembled in one of three modes: landing mode, cruise mode, and attack mode. I chose to build this model in attack mode, which determined the size of the radiator baffles, the wing position, and if the landing gear was installed or not.

Before starting, all parts (except the radiator baffles, warp drive housing, and photon torpedo emitter) were primed with pale green paint. The baffles were primed in steel.
