Vacua Dirigibles, LLC company history [Company being moved OUT of Washington State, because owners can be replaced by filing a fee by anyone]
Founded February 14th 2008 to commercialize a high speed dirigible.
Introduction: For more than 30 years, David Zornes has been exploring new ways to provide for fundamental needs—water, shelter, energy, and thermal control—without degrading the environment. Vacua Dirigibles, LLC is the culmination of Zornes' vision: a company that will provide customers with solutions to basic needs with cutting-edge science in consumer-oriented products based on a brand new 3D Graphene nano carbon material. As founder and CEO, Zornes brings interdisciplinary learning and career experience to Vacua Dirigibles, a company focused on making personal flight as common as automobiles by applying a graphene ultrathin vacuum tight film to displace air, provide sustainable partial vacuums “vacua”, and then control buoyancy with flashing xenon within the vacuum. Transportation of food and water from high mountains to dense urban areas, is critical for survival in regions with bad roads. Vacua Dirigibles will be able to safely fly gracefully into agricultural areas to gather food for delivery to cities where the needs are high. In addition, SCF regenerative fuel cells are developed as batteries to dramatically increase the rate of water decomposition and can be applied to store any energy source (e.g. solar, heat absorption, vibration, pressure changes, and electric power) in the form of decomposed water. Mobility engineering is enabled by regenerative H2O SCF fuel cells independent of fossil fuels and safe in an aircraft battery.
CONVERTING MILITARY TECHNOLOGY INTO HUMANITARIAN APPLICATIONS HAS BEEN A FOCUS OF ZORNES
MOST U.S. GOVERNMENT LABS HAVE BEEN OPENED TO THE WORLD TO SYNCHRONIZE:
SPACE, TIME, MATERIALS, CALIBRATIONS, AND MEDICAL DATA TO UNITE HUMANITY

3D SEMICONDUCTING: 1.WOWO/2010/059505 - PERPENDICULAR SUSPENSION OF ONE PLANAR TWO DIMENSIONAL (2D) GRAPHENE SHEET STACK BY ALIGNING ITS SIX-MEMBER CARBON ATOMS WITHIN THE HEXAGONAL CENTERPOINT HOLES OF A SECOND GRAPHENE SHEET STACK THAT OCCUPY THE SAME THREE DIMENSIONAL (3D) SPACE27.05.2010C01B 31/04PCT/US2009/064286ZORNES, David, A.ZORNES, David, A.
To avoid atomic constructive interference; at least one of a regular hexagon sides in the first stack of graphene is positioned by locating its side midpoint to the centerpoint "holes" of the regular hexagon in the second stack, which provides two stacks perpendicular to each other, suspending one planer two dimensional (2D) graphene sheet stack within a second graphene sheet stack allows each stack to occupy the same three dimensional space because six-member carbon holes provide space for six-member carbon-to-carbon sides at a low enough energetic change state.
LOW SPEED TURBINE: 2.WOWO/2009/145808 - BUCKYBALL SPHERE EXTRUDED FROM A CENTRAL POINT TO A BUCKYBALL FORMING PANELS FOR WIND POWER TURBINES AND A CLOSED BUCKYBALL SPHERE WITHIN A LARGER OPEN BUCKYBALL SPHERE FORMING A FLOATING AMPHIBIOUS WATER PROPULSION PADDLE WHEEL AND BUOYANT VACUUMED SPHERE WITH XENON ELECTRICAL CONTROL OF BUOYANCY03.12.2009B64B 1/58PCT/US2008/087295ZORNES, David, A.ZORNES, David, A. 3.WOWO/2009/076681 - BUCKYBALL SPHERE AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF18.06.2009B63H 1/04PCT/US2008/086900ZORNES, David, A.ZORNES, David, A.
A planar hexagon curve extruded to a center point providing six isosceles triangle panels with the shortest edge being one of the six planer hexagon curves forms a buckyball hexagon extrusion that naturally provide pentagon extrusions. A buckyball hexagon extrusion is one of twenty that array at equidistant angles around twelve pentagons at equidistant angles in groups into an open cell buckyball sphere. A closed cell buckyball within a larger open cell buckyball sphere share a common center point and other extrusion angles that have utility for: a water paddle wheel for propulsion that floats, a tire, a wind turbine, and an air turbine.

Run-up to Vacua Dirigibles, LLC:
Zornes’ career has included home building, bio-system integration research "Space Medicine" at the University of Washington neonatal intensive care program (under Dr. Kathryn Barnard) in the late 70's, business posturing contributions in 1980-1982 to Boeing's Bulk Avalanche Semiconductor Switch (BASS)-Advanced Systems technology development (changing Boeing's Military Division into the Advanced Systems Division capable of subsurface radar mapping), and surveys of technology in leading laboratories across the United States, Y-12 Security Technology and Sandia National Laboratories (AT&T). Under Thomas Technology, Zornes funded the development of graphic/math software for cutting and then connecting sectioned 3-D subsurface radar CAD images into an accurate global 3-D hexagonal map of earth reaching from terrestrial subsurfaces to space. BASS technology was presented as oil well borehole radar and water recovery in aging urban water ducts to optimize supply to high population regions.
David Zornes and NASA Administrator Dan Goldin where Goldin presented human biology in space at BIO "99
SPACE MEDICINE: Zornes' studied neonatal intensive care systems under the pioneer Dr. Kathryn Barnard at the University of Washington to understand, in his own independent white paper study, how neonatal intensive care systems could provide safe human embryo growth in space. Laird Brown of Tacoma Washington helped write the human cell organelle biological differentiation impact white papers and visited the university directors with Zornes. Later in Seattle Washington NASA Director, Dan Goldin, was guest speaker at BIO "99 to present neonatal care of babies born from women traveling in future space missions where human embryos would develop brains with approximately 1,000 times more brain cells and 30-billion times more dendrite brain cell connections in the absence of gravity. Dan Goldin presented how potential human embryo growth in space will result in small bodies with very large heads requiring a neonatal type intensive care system for what might be a solar system human that cannot travel to the heavy gravity of earth. Zornes' research was NOT part of NASA's presentation, nor was it shared. Space Medicine, is not part of NASA, but determines how and when enough is known about human biology in space to safely be in space working. Zornes is not part of Space Medicine. Zornes attended the International Cell-to-Cell Symposium at The Scripps Research Institute in San Diego during this study, including breakfast with Dr. Crick to discuss mitochondrial genome. See Compaction and flexibility of the DNA by Alexey Onufriev Structural fluctuations of the Nucleosomal DNA. or 64 MB movie file.
We humans are the terrestrial representation of our DNA potential on earth:
gravity, air, rotational speed, solar cycles…, and relative localization biodiversity.
With natural birth in space, we may have solar system bound humans within our solar system. Plan for space embryo development on long space flights.
Zornes has had substantial hands-on "hard" vacuum lab experience trying to commercialize ICEnergy for Jack Bauer (inventor): ICEnergy Refrigeration was co developed by Zornes to provide solid state climate control to biological systems in space to reduce noise and vibration in the human environment. Jack Bauer is the original inventor of ice sublimation refrigeration and was awarded a NASA Space Shuttle test under Dan Goldin's administration of NASA. Jack Bauer (right) in photo below is inserting an ice sublimation device into a Space Shuttle test enclosure. A vacuum cannot be held long enough, because zeolite materials outgas over time within a hard vacuum. There is a possibility that graphene vacuum tight membranes may act as an enclosure and shaped adsorbent to replace zeolite, providing a commercial product for Jack Bauer that has remarkable miniaturization and lifetime. Jack Bauer intends to apply ice sublimation in humanitarian applications.

Government Contracting Improvements: Zornes has provided products or services to every United Sates agency and DOD command center since 1979. This history included successful bid protests which require the judgment of the General Accounting Office (GAO) executive director providing permanent improvements that more clearly defines the government procurement process for all future contracts. Richard Oehler, Esq. represented Zornes to file protests, which required Zornes and Oehler to present protest in Washington DC to a Presidential Committee. Zornes has not lobbied governments and has no plans to.
Professional Contacts: In the process of developing and testing an impressive stream of products at UT-Battelle, LLC; Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, CA; Undersea Warfare Center, Key Port WA; Primex Aerospace, Redmond WA; Oregon State University; TACOM; Ford; Parker Hannifin; United Plastics Group; Boston College; Karak; Rexnord; GE, IBM Watson Research Center (offered micro-motor harddrive license), etc, Zornes has consulted with major leaders in business, science, and technology. Zornes UT-Battelle, LLC carbon fiber license agreement with HexaBlock, Inc. was canceled by Zornes post 9/11, because WTC-NYC business relationships were lost relative to one marketplace for "one" UT-Battelle carbon technology.
A selected list of Zornes’ professional contacts includes the former CFO of Microsoft, a past officer of NASDAQ; a key member of Microsoft's 30-year planning committee; members of the Technology Board of Ford Motor Company (Zornes' company was the first outside firm to license Ford technology for distribution to third parties in 1991-1995); officials from British Tire & Rubber; GE headquarters International Marketing Consultant; leading scientists with NASA; and dignitaries from Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Zornes is an active contributor (or attendee) to the MIT Forum, BIO-99 & 2000, World Resource Institute, Digital Dividends Conference, World Affairs Council, Engineering Deans Institute Conference (presenter under engineering.com sponsorship), Corporate Social Responsibility, SAE, the American Society of Heating & Refrigeration Engineers under Parker Hannifin, and the International Electrical Engineers. Zornes sponsored the First Electric Motor Challenge in September, 1995, to lead the conversion of five industries consuming 90% of the world's electric power over to more efficient power transmissions that cannot wear out. He sponsored the First Green Building Conference in April, 1999, in Denver, Colorado, presenting HexaBlock for developed nations; and he attended Sustainable Development bipartisan committee meetings conducted by President Clinton's cabinet for developing nations.

Force Projection 2003 Symposium 2003/05/06-08 Zornes attended as a guest from JOCOTAS shelter meeting staff and met the HUMANITARIAN shelter and rescue community within the military.
President Clinton's Sustainable Development meetings, attended by industry (1993-95), were open to the public and the NGOs stimulated the latest round of Zornes activity. A 1994 survey of industry was made to distill energy solutions down to a few; the synthesis of a magnetic power transmission developer and manufacturer was completed in 1997, sustainable end benefits identified for customers, and valid business models confirmed. British Tire & Rubber (www.rexnord.com) manufactured Magnelink™—a magnetic power transmission that cannot wear out, guaranteed it for the lifetime of the connected equipment, and which is providing sustainable energy reductions worldwide.

Space Medicine Childhood Influence - an accidental blessing:
Zornes had childhood brain trauma, at a time and place where Space Medicine was a brand new science group researching dogs and monkeys in space to understand the biological impact of rocketing life into space. This frontier Space Medicine was used to heal Zornes childhood brain trauma and has influenced his vision of mankind. Some of the Space Medicine scientist (and their friends) have visited Zornes over his lifetime, at school, work, mountain camping trips where history was disclosed in front of Zornes' family to brief them together … and invited him to labs or conferences that opened doors, like Bio '99, where Space Medicine discoveries were presented. Noall Z. Tanner MD (clinic), contacted Space Medicine scientist when he treated Zornes childhood accident, because he was a plastic surgeon that was closest to the family farm for initial trauma treatment. Tanner did a great job taping the ears back onto Zornes, after the tractor accident ripped them loose. Without knowing it, Tanner launched Zornes into a world of TOP scientists living on the frontier of knowledge.
During high school, Zornes would drive an elderly couple, William Stearns and his wife, oil wildcats, to Fresno and Bakersfield, California, Ocean City and Centralia, Washington. Zornes traveled to other regions for Mr. Stearns such as the Williston North Dakota oil basin, where Mr. Stearns pioneered oil exploration. Stearns provided Zornes free DHL courier flights from his nephew, Mr. Reed to provide documents to scientific labs. Zornes life is blurred between school and flying for DHL to visit science facilities.
Kenneth Kessler, Esq. befriended Zornes during college and encouraged him to help in his legal practice to gain practical knowledge of contracting, patent drafting, and the general legal process between 1975-83. Under Kessler, Zornes appeared on television shows to teach the patent application timing relative to product commercialization.
David E. Anderson, CPA, operated the Hanford complex under www.Y12.DOE.gov and prior to that served in Boeing’s specialized accounting group, consolidating the internal financial reports directly to Boeing’s CEO and vice chairman. Anderson paid individual attention to Boeing’s foreign orders to their completion. Between 1976 and 2000 David Anderson also partnered with Zornes to complete contracts, teaching how large companies, governments, NGO’s, and technology providers fit together. Anderson was a 4.0 student from the University of Puget Sound, with two master’s degrees in corporate accounting. As a friend of John Hewitt and former Boeing employee, David Anderson directed Zornes to offer Boeing BASS technology through Hewitt Investments, which was a test case to see if Zornes had the business empathy required to "shake a corporate tree" and get 36 vice presidents to sign a deal. Zornes worked in the background contacting Pentagon government staff, military, Hewitt, and Boeing, under Anderson's direction, for a finder’s fee of stock (Zornes keeps records for investor research). Anderson and his wife helped Zornes' businesses, after this Boeing BASS deal was completed by John Hewitt.
Dr. O’Grady was a founder of Callaway Golf and other companies and paid educators, consultants, and Rhodes Scholars thousands a day to educate Zornes on many subjects. O'Grady was a major funding source for rebuilding the Statue of Liberty.
Stanley W. Beetham (http://www.wesleyan.edu/alumni/) was one of the paid consultants relative to business planning.
Harvard Business School alumni have invited Zornes to their centennial in 2008 and other gatherings helpful to his continuous improvements. See Harvard Business Review comments on the mini ice age FEB 2009.
