Davan Tours was launched in December 2011 with a 17-day 'reconnaissance tour' of Kenya and Uganda. An action packed itinerary saw 5 seasoned travelers from Australia and UK tour all the proposed places that we intend to offer on our standard 2 week package. We visited all the National Parks, saw the sights, stayed in the hotels, ate at the restaurants, entertained kids in the villages and traveled the roads that make this such an exciting part of the world. We have an extensive list of feedback about what was awesome, and what to avoid on future tours. We will soon be posting information on this website about all of the places and activities to help to ensure you get the most out of your tour.
We realise that everyone appreciates different things, and your tour guide will do their best to tailor your tour to your interests and abilities. While Simon was trekking to the peak of Mt Elgon, Justin was playing football with the youth, and Kathryn was singing with kids in the village, and I don't think any of them would have it any other way.
To begin business we are only planning four scheduled 14-day tours in 2012 to coincide with the Ugandan school holiday dates. If you wish to come at another time of year (or for a shorter or longer period), please contact us and we will arrange an private tour for you.
