Chairman’s Address/Annual Report ( Paul Jackson)
PJ began his address with memories of the previous meetig where he stood in for John
Moorley as Vice Chair. John sadly died hence Paul moved into the Chairman role. Despite
this sad start to the role, it has been a successful year with a full programme and increase in
finances. There was an initial anxiety about shortage of walker leaders, but a full programme has
been achieved with 6 new walk leaders Many thanks to all members for the year and to
regular/past walk leaders.
Group membership now stands at 182 with 20/30 ‘core’ of walkers. There is an average of
15/16 people on walks.
Successful events had taken place….Pateley Bridge and the Windermere Weekend , many
thanks to those who organised it and also led walks.
Particular thanks to Bob King and his input to the group via walk co ordination, membership,
organisation and of course leading walks.
Changes at Head Office include the end of ‘Assembly’ and also the introduction of
Mandatory training for Walk Leaders ( May 24)

Secretary Report( David Reed)
DR echoed previous report – it has been a successful year with weekend and summer walks.
Particular thanks to Bob King and Martyn Reed for coordinating the Sunday and Wednesday
walks….also many thanks to all walk leaders.
Particular thanks to Alan Hazlett for organising the training at Bowlees for Leaders
Enquiries had been coming to DR over the year and it was pleasing to see the numbers
overall increasing- welcome to everyone!
Questions raised about Regional leads but no confirmation or detail yet. Thanks to Bob King
and also to the Chair and Committee

Treasurers Report Christine Hazlett
The report given by CH, covered Oct 23- Nov 24.
The group remained with Unity Trust Bank with a main account and opening a social
account for voluntary contributions and paying for social events.
Main account remained healthy with a credit of £1,165.88 following success at
applying for central monies.
The social fund stands at £92
Signatories are Paul Jackson, Christine Hazlett and Marg West.
CH is prepared to continue as Treasurer
