Aims & Objectives

The Ramblers have five main charitable aims as detailed below:

    1. To promote walking

    2. To safeguard paths

    3. To increase access for walkers

    4. To protect the countryside

    5. To educate the public

Put simply this means;

'To promote walking and safeguard paths, increasing access and protecting the countryside'.

As walkers who enjoy the countryside it is in everyones interest to respect these aims and objectives, otherwise we could lose our paths and therefore our enjoyment of the countryside.
