2021-2012 Hep Desk/Production Support Engineer at Cotiviti (formerly Verisk/Verscend)
2012-09 to present - Help Desk/Production Support Specialist at Verisk Health, Payment Accuracy Division, Durham, NC.
2010-2012 - temporary assignments as a computer programmer and Access Guru (through AppleOne Temp Services); with American States Utility Services and Old North Utility Services, sister-companies that manage water and sewer services for military bases on the east coast.
Longest full-time employment was MWV, a world-class, world-wide corporation. I have a very diverse background. Listed below are positions held with this company for over 20 years:
January 1989 - Land Assets & Acquisitions Clerk, Woodlands/Lands Division.
Responsible for managing the divisions hunting leases as well as assisting the Land Assets manager in assessing fair market values of proposed land acquisitions. Was part of a team that successfully negotiated a six million dollar land exchange with Champion International (1990).
May 1990 - Data Management Specialist/Fleet Administrator
Responsible for managing a quarter million dollars worth of company vehicles (lease agreements, acquisitions and disposals). Also developed cost accounting tracking system conversion (from outsourced software to personally developed database), was able to provide upper management with report information and budgeting statistics. Also served as the Secretary, Manager of State Government Affairs (part time, as needed)
November 2001 - Geographical Information Systems Technician
Responsible for providing internal customers with current maps and GIS data (both digital and hard copies) in a timely manner. Also performed routine maintenance and updates on six division offices' GIS computers and programs. Interacted with Forestry Division personnel and developed reports from SQL queries pulled from ORACLE GIS server files. Integrated Oracle database files with local GIS database files and created Crystal Reports for Tier 2 information.
August 2004 - Six Sigma Technician/Training Coordinator
Responsible for developing new training modules based on parameters provided by training instructors. Managed an inventory of training computers and performed routine maintenance and installed new/updated software.
August 2006 - Production Specialist, Process Excellence
Responsible for production of training materials, database administrator and managing the company's OpEx intranet site as well as a few others. Produced monthly newsletter as well as managing web-based training links. Worked closely with various managers to provide technical support, served as a "Google Guide" and assisted with data migration from Lotus Suite to MS Office Suite. Created and maintained various databases used my process excellence group and others.
July 2010 my position was terminated due to the Raleigh office being closed.
