Drawing is not only a very important way of art expression, the practice of drawing and painting can also train the eyes and hands coordination, aesthetic appreciation and judgment capabilities. Acquiring these skills in childhood can be a very important asset to be succeeded in many professions, such as dentist, medical surgeon, graphics designer, illustrator, advertiser, marketing professional, architect, 3D animator and any profession that requires artistic skill and/or eye-hand coordination.
Children Art Program is a carefully structured program that will help students to start from the very basic, step by step, to develop and master the advanced skill of drawing realistically. Besides technical skills, this program will broaden the students’ horizon by introducing major artists and their master pieces in different art movements, and supplemental subjects, such as animation theory and production, drawing clinic, story and character development, picture book production. Your kid will surely have a lot of fun in the learning process.
About the program: The class will meet once a week for a 55 minutes session. The program is divided into smaller models that will last for 4 to 8 weeks to focus on a specific topic. Students will gain a board range of art knowledge and a lot of practice to help them to master the skills. Sample Subjects: How to draw accurately, how to draw realistically, color theory, art appreciation, art movements, drawing clinic, anatomy for drawing, character and story development, cartoon theory and production, oil painting, water color, Impressionism, Renaissance, Abstract, web site creation, photography…… Cost: $20 material fee per lesson.
