USS Yorktown CVS 10

The picture on the left is of the USS Yorktown CVS 10 in the foreground with a silhouette of the USS Yorktown  CV 5 which was destroyed  during  WW II at the battle of Midway in June 1942.The picture was created in the darkroom with some magic  by Photomate J. Shriver  

 

  Lower  is a picture of the 7th fleet. In the center is the Aircraft Carrier USS Yorktown where I was stationed for 18 months.  My tour of duty included maneuvers off the coast of Indochina during the Vietnam War.
