[ A Note from Roy Fonda re: SERS Trustee Elections ]

Greetings Fellow IDOT Retirees,

We all should have received an official ballot from SERS containing the names of two candidates for a five year term as Annuitant Trustee.

Our friend and frequent speaker at our Keep in Touch Luncheons, Barbara Baird, has asked us to vote for David Thompson. David has over 35 years of service with SERS and would make an excellent trustee. Please join with me in supporting David Thompson.

Tom Doebele is a friend of Jim Stoner's, recently retired District 1 Traffic person. Jim has been in contact with Tom over the years. Jim has been talking to Tom on the telephone and also wrote him Christmas cards every year, but in the last years, no answer on the telephone nor Christmas cards.

Jim would like to know whether any of you know if Tom is alive? If yes, do any of you know his telephone number or his new address?

After using the google software to create & maintain this Website for years, google in their infinite wisdom has decided to end the software....and....replace it with "SOMETHING BETTER". Better, of course, is their spew, not mine. So, eventually [shortly ?] this page will look different. Other parts of the Website may or may not work. Their "EASY" conversion process , again, is THEIR spew, not mine. Keep watching ? !
