[ Snow Bomb ? ]
Actually, NOAA called it a snow squall. Was out with the dogs about 7:45pm Friday when the cell phones went off. I suspected it was for a Amber's Alert. Nope, weather was calm at the time, but the emergency warning was for the snow squall. Which came about like they said.

Yeah. If that were true, they'd have MORE call takers...so, it's simply BS. My healthcare provider us great at this.....I'll hear this 3 or 4 times in different voices in less than 2 minutes.
BUT ! Gail has a renewal with ILSOS pending, current one expires in March. Calls today to find the status. Call taker answers ON FIRST RING ! But then says, 'We're 14 weeks behind...If you don't get it by April 1st [April Fools Day], give us a call again. Looks like they have enough call takers, but need more transaction folks.

[ A First ]
Missed posting a month for the first time since DONE began about 2012. What happened? Short version. Had a short, fun stay at the hospital for an SVT, doctor talk for very rapid heartbeat, about 150 beats per minute. Then 3 dogs had their bouts with illness with weekly vet visits. Finally, the good folks at IDOT want to change my two lane to a 4 or five lane in front of the house. BUT, where there's a 5 lane flat bi-directional center lane cross section to the east AND west, IDOT wants to put in a 4 lane with a barrier median: only right turns in & right turns out of entrances.
