Fundraisers
Popcorn
Popcorn sales are the primary fundraiser for Cub Scouts and directly support the activities and events that make the program fun for families. Funds raised help pay for camping trips, Pinewood Derby kits, awards and rank advancements, meeting supplies, and special events throughout the year. This support allows the Pack to offer a high-quality, year-round program while keeping participation costs as low as possible for families.
In addition to funding the program, popcorn sales help Cub Scouts build important life skills. Scouts learn confidence, responsibility, goal-setting, and communication as they work alongside their families to reach their sales goals. Every purchase supports local Scouting, helping ensure that Cub Scout programs remain strong and accessible for years to come.
Fall Fest Food Booth
Pack 270 is proud to partner with Dancing Marlin during Fall Fest by operating a food booth as an additional fundraiser for our Cub Scouts. This partnership gives families a fun, hands-on way to support the Pack while being visible and active in the community. Proceeds from the food booth help fund Pack activities such as camping trips, events, awards, and program supplies throughout the year.
This fundraiser also reinforces the importance of teamwork, service, and community involvement. Scouts and parents work together to support a local business while raising funds that directly benefit our program. Opportunities like this help Pack 270 continue offering meaningful experiences while keeping Scouting affordable and accessible for our families.
