WATCH DOGS ARE BACK!
WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is a father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures to provide positive male role models for students and to enhance school security.
Creekside was the FIRST school in the Cherry Creek School district to provide this
program. Enlisting fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, AND then expanded it
to other parental figures: any Parent, Grand Parent, 21+ Older Sibling, etc. who want
to volunteer to serve at their school can do it!
You will spend the day being part of your child’s daily school life, getting to know
their teachers and friends, and providing a much-needed set of extra eyes, ears,
hands, and security that is so necessary and important in our schools!
The kids, teachers and staff have come to expect and look forward to a Watch DOG every day
Let’s not disappoint them!
Find a day, or half day, that works with your schedule! We all are juggling careers and our families; take just one day (or more) to unplug from your work commitments and enjoy watching over our kids, having lunch with your child, playing with them at recess and showing them that school is important and fun.
Be a superhero for your kiddo – they are counting on you.
