August 12, 2026: Classroom Teacher Welcome Email

You will receive a welcome email from your child's teacher on Wednesday, August 12, in the afternoon, provided your parent forms have been completed.

August 13, 2026: Meet and Greet

We will host our Meet and Greet for Pre-K - 5th grade on Thursday, August 13, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. We would like to invite our new families from 4:00 - 4:30 pm and returning families from 4:30 - 6:00 pm. This Meet and Greet is an excellent opportunity for students to meet their new teachers and connect with other students and families in the Creekside community. You may spend time in the classroom, drop off school supplies, and tour our school. You may also visit with our nurse and drop off any medications and medical paperwork. 

Additionally, PTCO is sponsoring a Popsicle Social on the big playground.

First Day of School Information

CCSD will have a staggered start to the school year. The purpose is to give students time with their teachers in smaller settings and a more supportive start to the year. See below for your child's start date.

• First Day of School-Grades 3, 4, 5 ONLY

• Kindergarten Assessment Day

Tuesday, August 18, 2026

• First Day of School-Grades 1 and 2 ONLY

Wednesday, August 19, 2026

• Pre-K, Kindergarten-5th grade students-Whole School is in Session!

• *Please note: this is an early release day and dismissal is at 1:45 pm for K-5.

• “Kisses and Cheers” for Kindergarten Families!: You are invited to join us outside on the first day of school near the small playground for “Kisses and Cheers” at 8:00 am on August 19th. You will help your child find their teacher, then we will cheer on our new kindies as they walk inside with their teachers for their first day of school.

Our amazing PTCO will host the Creekside Welcome Back Carnival AND 40th Birthday on August 21 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. It is another opportunity to connect with others in our school community. We hope to see you there.

September 3: Yearbook / School Picture Day
