Creekside Fun Run - Register Now!


Our Creekside Fun Run has officially kicked off! If you haven't done so already, it's time to get your student registered and donate TODAY to help our school.

This year, our goal is to raise $65,000 for supplemental funding for teaching assistants, teacher grants for student learning, and community events. All families can support our school by either donating or sharing on MYBOOSTER.com!

CCSD Mill & Bond Presentation

To recap, on August 12th, the CCSD Board of Education voted unanimously to put a mill and bond measure on the November 5, 2024 ballot for CCSD residents. The proposal includes investments in safety and security, teachers, innovation and career training, student health, technology, and major construction and maintenance projects at schools across the district. For both measures, residents would pay less than $3 a month for each $100,000 of property value.

To provide factual information about the two measures and hear from our community, the district is hosting several presentations. Please see the following information about upcoming presentations:


Cherry Creek Feeder Mill and Bond Presentation

Save-the-Date: Grandfriends' Day - September 6th


Grandfriends' Day is designed to honor our grandparents and grandfriends, those who take on a grandparent's role in their family. This special day is when we invite our grandparents and grandfriends to our school for classroom visits.

We hope your student's grandparents or grandfriends will beable to join us! More information regarding this special day will be sent out in your child's Thursday folder.

Save-the-Date: Creekside Yearbook/School Picture Day - August 22nd


Creekside picture day will be held on Thursday, August 22nd! More information will be sent out in your child's Thursday folder during the first week of school. 



Welcome Back to School Starting August 12th!


We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Creekside Elementary! This year, students will start on a staggered schedule.


August 12th - First Day of School: Grades 3, 4 & 5 ONLY


August 13th - First Day of School: Grades 1 & 2 ONLY


August 14th - Full return: Pre-K-5, First Day of School for Pre-Kindergarten and  Kindergarten and Kindergarten Kisses and Cheers, 8am on the little playground. Please note this is an early release day and dismissal is at 1:45 pm.

Donations Needed! - Creekside Staff Lounge Stock-the-Fridge


It's hard to believe there are less than 3 weeks until the kids are heading “Back to School”!


The start of the new school year is right around the corner!  Let's show our Creekside Staff how much we appreciate all of their hard work by stocking the staff lounge with snacks and drinks for them to enjoy!  Please review the items needed using the link below and sign up to donate!


Items may be dropped off at the school from Tuesday, July 30th at 8am through Friday, August 2nd at 12pm. There will be a black and yellow bin outside of the front entrance that you can leave non-perishable items in. Save-the-Date: Creekside's Welcome Back Carnival - August 16th


Creekside's Welcome Back Carnival is scheduled for August 16th from 4 - 6 PM. $10 suggested cash donation per child. Entrance into the carnival grants you access to unlimited carnival games, 3 bounce houses, a staff dunk tank, a cupcake walk, temporary tattoos, and prizes!


Food will be available for purchase from Barbed Wire Reef (www.barbedwirereef.com) and Kona Ice.


PLEASE NOTE: All students must have a signed waiver to attend the carnival. Parents MUST Accompany Children. This is NOT a drop-off event.

Kindergarten Kisses & Cheers - August 14th


Kindergarten Parents - Join us on August 14th at 8 am outside on the little playground for Kisses and Cheers. When you arrive, help your child find their teacher. Then join in as we cheer on our children as they walk inside with their teachers for their first day.


After you bid your child farewell for their first day of school, join us from 8:15 – 8:45 am in the courtyard by the kindergarten entrance. Come meet other kindergarten parents and learn how to get involved with the Creekside PTCO!

Teacher Meet & Greet - August 8th


Join us Thursday, August 8th from 4 - 6 PM for our beginning of the year Meet and Greet.


4 - 4:30 PM for new families

4:30 - 6 PM for returning families


Come meet your teacher, drop off school supplies, visit with the nurse, drop off medication and medical paperwork, learn about after-school programs and volunteer opportunities, and grab a popsicle! This is a great opportunity for students to meet their teachers and connect with other students and families in the Creekside community. We are looking forward to seeing each and every one of you!
