We Are Thankful For Brook Baker, Independent Consultant for Arbonne

We are thankful for the generosity and support of our Silver Level Corporate Sponsor, Brook Baker, Independent Consultant for Arbonne!

Eight years ago, Creekside parent, Brook Baker became an Arbonne Consultant and never looked back. It was definitely a business she never saw herself doing initially, but once she tried the products and realized the flexibility she would have with her schedule as she raised her family, she jumped in. The adventure has been filled with earned trips, an earned Mercedes, but more than anything she loves Arbonne for the people….positive, uplifting and supportive, people… something she says we could all use a little more of in this world. So enough about this adventure of hers, here’s a little bit about the products.

You may be asking, what is Arbonne? Arbonne is a health ad wellness company that was founded in Switzerland over 35 years ago. They offer over 450 health, wellness, skincare and beauty products focused on promoting healthy living from the inside out. With so many choices out there, why would you choose Arbonne…the answer is The Arbonne Difference.

While Arbonne originally started as a skincare company, they have since expanded into the nutritional market, as truly healthy skin starts with what you are feeding your body. In recent The 30 Day Healthy Living Program, which provides recipes products and coaching, has become one of their most popular programs for creating a healthier you. Whether you are looking to replace a few skin care items or take control of your health, Arbonne has products that can help.

Arbonne has a fun line of Holiday products. Brook is happy to help recommend something for anyone on your list.

Creekside Cares Campaign

This fall we are not able to hold in-person fundraisers; however, the PTCO still needs to raise money for Creekside Elementary!

This year has been full of challenges, surprises, disappointments and major changes for all of us here at Creekside Elementary. Despite everything we've endured, we have shown if we work together we can conquer any challenge laid out before us. As part of the Creekside Family, we are asking you to donate to help raise funds for:

- Direct grants to the staff to support student learning and technology in the classrooms

- Supplemental funding for teacher assistants to help keep class sizes smaller and provide our teachers with additional supports

Our goal is for each family in our Creekside community to contribute to this campaign. We are hoping families donate a minimum of $75 per student enrolled at Creekside. We recognize not all families are in a position to give at this level and a donation of any size is never too small. Hopefully families who are able to donate more will choose to do so. All we ask is each family give a gift that is meaningful to them.

On Aug. 3rd, the Cherry Creek School District Board of Education approved a budget and bond election that will take place this fall. The budget election will raise $35 million for operational expenses to stave off some of the worst impacts of the $60 million budget deficit, and a $150 million bond election for costs including deferred maintenance, security upgrades, innovation-focused renovations at the high schools, a mental health treatment facility, and the potential of a new school in the eastern part of the district to alleviate overcrowding. The combined impact of the measures for homeowners in the district would total $1.65 per month for every $100,000 of home value. Please consider voting Yes for both 4A (Budget Election) and 4B (Bond Election). For more information, please visit the CCSD Planning Forward Budget site or visit https://www.citizensforcherrycreekschools.com.
