Dear Patients,
We understand the anxiety and concern you may be experiencing at this very difficult time. To be able to continue to care for your needs, we need to protect you, our staff and ourselves to avoid Surgery closure.
Due to the developing COVID-19 pandemic and advice from the Department of Health to provide Telephone Consultations, our practice will be making some significant changes to our appointment bookings and on-site access. Our priority remains to continue providing a quality healthcare service to our community and ensuring the safety of our patients who would be at significant risk of COVID-19.
From Monday 30/3/20, the practice will be open for Phone Consults only and restricted access for face to face consults will be in place.
All patients will be requested to Book a Phone Consult with a Doctor as we expect the vast majority of consultations will be adequately managed over the phone and a Doctor may offer a Face to Face Consult for cases that are deemed safe and appropriate. Please click HERE to make an online TeleHealth appointment.
All TeleHealth Consultations are now eligible for Bulk Billing with Medicare. You will be informed when you call whether there will be Private Billing.
Allocated Sessions will be reserved for Face to Face Consults with strict adherence to social distancing in the waiting room and our Doctors and Nurse will be wearing Protective Personal Equipment. These sessions will be relayed to you at the time of booking. Protected Time Slots will be reserved specifically for Well or Vulnerable patients (e.g. pregnant mothers, routine childhood immunisations, injections, procedures, susceptible patients).
Also with the arrival of the flu vaccines, we will be holding controlled flu vaccination clinics at the practice and adhering to strict social distancing measures. More information will be provided on our website over the coming days once it is ready, we thank you for your patience.
Please understand that these changes are being made with every intention of ensuring your safe continuity of care. We will strive to continue providing the highest quality of healthcare in these adverse times. If you have any further queries, please contact our Reception on 9570-7770. We thank you for your support.
Kind Regards,
Rosa and the team.
