Honor Roll

The following Venturers, as a member of Crew 1191, have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in Scouts BSA, the Venturing Summit Rank, the highest rank in Venturing, one of the venturing specialty or one of the leadership awards

Eagle Scout

The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle."

Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges and demonstrating Scout Spirit through the Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. Eagle Scouts are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes the accomplishments of the Scout. Additional recognition can be earned through Eagle Palms, awarded for completing additional tenure, leadership, and merit badge requirements.

Summit Rank

The Summit Rank represents Venturing’s highest honor. To achieve this ultimate recognition, the Venturer will serve the crew as a leader— both formally and informally— and will be a mentor to others. In addition, they will strengthen their community by designing and leading a service project to benefit others. The experience gained in earning this award will help them mature as a member of a team and as an individual. Summit recipients are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes their accomplishments.
