GROWING INTO A NEW LOCATION! HELP US MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Vance County has experienced a growing population of homeless men, women and families. There already exists a year round shelter for females of all ages but nothing is available for men except in the coldest months. Community Partners of Hope, Inc. (CPOH) has for the past 14 years provided a "winter shelter" for hundreds of men in need, providing a meal, a shower, a safe place to sleep, clean clothing, and other assistance. We have just about outgrown the space in the basement of First Presbyterian Church and have even turned men away on the coldest nights. Now thanks to the Methodist church we have an opportunity to grow and expand our services and to be open for 12 months of the year! We are leasing the City Road United Methodist church building. We need your support financially and "IN KIND" (carpentry skills, painting, grant writing, accounting assistance, and more) - but most of all financial donations.

CONTINUING TO SERVE THOSE IN NEED - HELP US COVER ONGOING EXPENSES. (see General Fund above)

Sustainability is essential to our ministry! We want to get into the new facility, but then we must continue to pay expenses!

In addition to the cost of getting into the new building, we have regular ongoing expenses for payroll, supplies, insurance, utilities, and other costs to support both the Men's Shelter and Hope House. We need a regular income to cover those costs. We apply for grants from the government and other agencies, but our biggest support comes from the community - wise people who recognize the importance of helping people in need as well as the benefit to our community.when those facing housing insecurity have somewhere to turn.
