A limited number of golfers in each division will advance to the 2025 Optimist International Junior Golf Championships provided they shoot the minimum qualifying score.
The number of Colorado-Wyoming junior golfers to advance to THE 2025 OPTIMIST is as follows:
Girls 10 - 12 Age group winner and next three qualifiers (a total of 4 golfers)
Girls 13 - 14 Age group winner and next five qualifiers (a total of 6 golfers)
Girls 15 - 18 Age group winner and next six qualifiers (a total of 7 golfers)
Boys 10 - 11 Age group winner and next six qualifiers (a total of 7 golfers)
Boys 12 - 13 Age group winner and next seven qualifiers (a total of 8 golfers)
Boys 14 - 15 Age group winner and next seven qualifiers (a total of 8 golfers)
Boys 16 - 18 Age group winner and next eight qualifiers (a total of 9 golfers)
If a golfer who lives outside the Colorado-Wyoming District qualifies in the District Qualifier, his/her participation will not eliminate a District resident from qualifying.
Financial assistance will be provided by the Colorado-Wyoming District Optimist Junior Program for THE 2025 OPTIMIST. The District will provide THE 2025 OPTIMIST registration fee of $ 700 to each of the seven in-district age group winners at the May and June 2025 District qualifiers. The District will provide $ 500 to the remaining 42 in-district qualifiers from the May and June 2025 District qualifiers.
There is no guarantee that financial support will be provided to golfers who travel outside their home District in an attempt to qualify for THE 2025 OPTIMIST.
