Leah Barkan's Memorial Celebration

On Nov. 5, 2017, Country Dancers of Westchester,

in collaboration with Mianus River Morris and Sword of Olde,

gathered at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Mamaroneck

to celebrate the life and legacy of Leah Barkan.

Well over 100 people paid homage to her near-legendary musicianship.

Six callers who worked closely with Leah joined with musicians from three bands

to lift our spirits and inspire us to embody the notes with beauty and grace.
