During my time at United Way of the National Capital Area, I was responsible for creating all original content for our Member Services, Programming, and Volunteer Services teams. I also composed speeches and talking points for our C-suite executives, as well as having written many of the news stories and blog entries for the organization's website, and copy for our annual reports. For all but the last seven months of my time there, when the department brought in a dedicated Digital Marketing Manager, I composed and sent 80% of all broadcast email communications.
