This website is maintained for the use of Corvallis Hill Homeowners Association Members for the purpose of sharing information, creating lines of communication and promoting a sense of community. It is created and maintained by the Board of Directors.
The Corvallis Hills Homeowners Association was created in 1979 by Harland and Margaret Bauer, through a Declaration of Restrictions, Covenants, and Conditions, for the purpose of enhancing and protecting the value, desirability and attractiveness of the real property as a highly desirable rural development.
Since its creation the restrictions, covenants and conditions have been amended three times altering the protective restrictions. In April of 1986 additional properties were annexed into the association. The “Sapphire Ranches” parcels all have supplemental covenants, conditions and restrictions.
The annual assessments levied by the association are "used exclusively for the purpose of promoting the health, safety and welfare of the residents in the properties and in particular for the improvement and maintenance of the properties and services of the homes situated upon the properties.' Special assessments may also be levied for the actual cost of road maintenance.
The CHHOA Covenants and Sapphire Ranches Coventants can be viewed from the Association Info page on this website.
The Corvallis Hills Home Owners Association (CHHOA) Board’s primary mission is to maintain the current roads to the standards defined by the Association, within the limitations of the Association’s resources; disseminate pertinent information to homeowners; collect and manage Association finances; and, maintain accurate records on Board actions (expenditures, meeting minutes etc).
The Board is primarily responsible for the following:
• Creating and maintaining an assessment of current roads and their conditions in relationship to suggested annual maintenance/improvements/repairs;
• Collecting and managing annual and special assessment fees;
• Creating and maintaining an annual Association budget;
• Dispersing funds to maintain roads; and,
• Disseminate information regarding the Board’s actions to homeowners.
Additionally, as time and financial resources permit the Board may assist homeowners in understanding their Covenants, and obtaining ‘neighborly compliance’ of Covenants within process guidelines. The Board may also form subcommittees to address other issues brought before the Board.
