Pro class: Matt Rudnitsky and Mathieu St-Pierre first place, Mathieu Pellerin and Ben Schlimmer second, Guillaume Blais and Eric Gagnon third, Tommy and Jimmy Pellerin fourth, Bob Rapant and Thomas Keefe fifth, Guy Rousseau and Michael Schlimmer sixth, Jeff Rankinen and Al Shaver seventh, John Partridge and Matt Belknap eighth. In the womens pro race, Holly Reynolds and Sarah Lessard took first, Mary Schlimmer and Theresa Schlimmer second.

After a downriver start from the Otego boat launch, most of the mens open teams packed up until the Wells Bridge buoy turn. Matt Rudnitsky and Bob Rapant set the pace upstream, separating four boats from the pack. After the top buoy turn, the pace slowed and a few other boats caught up. At Wells Bridge, the pace picked up in the shallow water and Rapant/Keefe, Pellerin/Pellerin fell off the pace, leaving Matt Rudnitsky and Mathieu St-Pierre, Mathieu Pellerin and Ben Schlimmer, Guillaume Blais and Eric Gagnon fighting for the win. Two hours later, after many breakaway attempts, it came down to a three way sprint with Matt/St-Pierre coming out on top.

In the shallow water below Wells Bridge Guy/Mike crawled upto Bubba and Pellerin bros inc. creating a 2nd pack. There was a 3 way sprint between Mike/Guy and Bob/Keefe, and the Pellerin bros inc for the finish line. But just before the sprint, the teams of Mike/Guy and the Pellerin bros inc. "made shit in the shortcut"(to quote Guy) making Bob's long cut the smart way to go. After a pain filled charge to catch Bob, Timmy started his double kick thingy and skooted by Guy/Mike and Bob for 4th place leaving Guy/Mike wallowing in 6th.

In the womens pro race, after an initially rough start, the Schlimmers led down to the bottom buoy, and the two teams rode together most of the way up the top bouy near Packmans house, until Dave Armstong got caught up on a log which caused a traffic jam and split the pack. Mary and Theresa took an alternate route and Holly/Sarah pulled away, and ended up winning by a significant distance.
