Club members have started spring training! It's still January but members are getting the itch to get back on the water full time! After a winter of exceptionally warm weather, which caused a lack of snow, members had very little opportunity for the usual winter routine of cross country skiing and snow shoeing to keep them in shape. Several members put in between 4 weeks and two months of weight training to compensate for the lack of the skiing and snowshoeing, with the hope that it will help give them a head start on the water now that the real training has begun!
