Liturgical Music

Traditional Choir

Individuals who are high school-aged and above lead the assembly in musical prayer at weekend Masses and other special liturgies throughout the year. Weekly rehearsal on Thursday evenings 7:00-8:30 pm, and a half-hour warm-up prior to mass are required.

Contemporary Ensemble

The Contemporary Ensemble sings and plays throughout the liturgical year at Sunday 11:00 am masses and special liturgies. Anyone from pre-teen to adult with an interest in Contemporary Christian music will sing and play at this Mass. We rehearse from 10:00 am - 10:55 every Sunday.

Youth choir

We encourage youth singers ages 8 through 18 to join our Youth choir. The ensemble leads the congregation in song and also proclaims the psalm for special liturgies including Christmas Eve, First Communion and Confirmation, as well as some weekend masses. Rehearsal times are determined by the schedule of the participants.

Cantors

Cantors intone the Word of God through individual singing as well as facilitating congregational singing. Cantors must understand the flow of liturgy, be familiar with the parish musical repertoire, be able to learn new music on their own and be comfortable teaching the assembly. Audition and interview requested.

Instrumental Musicians

Musicians provide instrumental musical leadership at Mass.
