Shadow Squadron Ad

Reflection:

For this design, I wanted to create an Ad for my gaming group called Shadow Squadron. To create this design, I started by creating a textured gradient background using the effects in Photoshop. After that, I added a solid black rectangle behind the logo that I designed a logo in Illustrator, which I then covered over in Photoshop. I moved the logo to the bottom right corner and shrunk it down.  Then, I copied and expanded the logo in the center, which has 25% opacity. Next, I added the text “BECOME ONE WITH THE SHADOWS” and added the following effects to it: Bevel & Emboss and an outer glow of white. Later, I cut out an image of a futuristic helicopter and added the following effects: Bevel & Emboss and Drop Shadow. Finally, I touched up the image and graphics with shadows.
