May 11 2015 - listening via live scanner audio from the FD radio console - Ladder 5 sent to lock in - map page given - no acknowledgement from Ladder 5 - Ladder 5 announced arrival - Engine sent to EMS call - no tones - map page given - no acknowledgement from Engine - "Engine 16 to Bridgeport; two one" - "in service Engine 16" says the dispatcher - "Engine 16 to Bridgeport, two four" - "in quarters Engine 16" says the dispatcher - no times given - "Bridgeport, Ladder 5 in quarters" - dispatcher echos the message by saying "Ladder 5 in quarters" - Engine did not call off at medical call apparently - maybe they are not on the dispatch channel - Batt 1 - Ladder 10 - Engine 10 - at 4 PM - Engine 3 Ladder 11 respond to 287 Clinton Ave for activated fire alarm, cross streets X and Y, map page Eng 3 Ldr 11 respond to 287 Clinton Ave for an activated fire alarm, cross streets X and Y, map page XX, both companies use Channel 2 for your fireground" - no acknowledgemnts heard on dispatch channel - then at 403 PM - "Engine 1 Ladder 5 respond to 300 Fairfield Ave for an elevator rescue, cross Broad and harrison, map five nine; repeated - no acknolwedgments - then at 404 PM - "Engine 3 at scene at 287 Clinton Ave, nothing visible, 4 story ordinary" - dispatcher reports they got a 2nd call, burnt food in an apt - at 406 PM - street closure info given; street will be closed for 10 minutes - then E1 L5 cancelled, occupants got out of elevator per caller - then E3 reports they are returning to quarters - the scanner feed says that just the dispatch channel is being monitored
