The Research Group posses an own high-performance computing infrastructure with 24 general-purpose nodes, for a total of more than 270 cores:
12 nodes - 2 Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5462 Core clocked at 2.8 GHz, with 16 GB of RAM and infinibanding
4 nodes - 2 Hexa-Core Intel Xeon E5650 Core clocked at 2.67 GHz with 24 GB of RAM and 1 HD of 500 GB at 7200 RPM
8 nodes - 2 8-Core Intel Xeon E5 -2670 Core clocked at 2.60 GHz with 24 GB of RAM and 1 HD of 500 GB at 7200 RPM
Beyond the aforementioned computational resources the researcher of our Group benefit of the expertise an tools available at:
Laboratorio di Calcolo Scientifico Avanzato Interdipartimentale (http://labcsai.unimo.it/lab/Main_Page) which provides hardware and software for HPC
Biblioteca Scientifica Interdipartimentale, BSI, (http://www.bsi.unimore.it) which provides all the online international scientific journal needed for the research activity
To achive the objective of our projects several scientific computational codes are being used:
