More on western rampaging

I just want to make a follow up comment from my last video which was rather provocatively called Europe did the world a favor. I got a bit of heated feedback to say the least.
In particular I was accused of opposing the national liberation movements. This is not the case.
We need to keep in mind that the purpose of these national liberation movements was not to cast off colonial shackles just so that they could to revert to pre-colonial times. They wanted to create modern societies . The revolutions of 1911 and 1949 in China were not aiming to bring back the Quing Dynasty, and Indian independence did not see the return of the Mogul Empire. It really is impossible to imagine that these internal modernizing movements could have emerged without the destabilizing effect of the west on their traditional societies and the exposure to western ideas.
