This is a beautiful guitar for the price. The fit and finish are about perfect. After a quick tune up it was ready to play, no fret buzz. Sounds good clean or unplugged, for jazz and such. Good for melodic part of Prog Rock song like in Yes and Barclay James Harvest including Metal Prog, Transatlantic, etch also Blues & no-frills Jazz Guitar that's solidly built with good tone. Decent build, nice frets, and good sounding pickup. It's a 'thinline' body, which is not going to sound as full as a thicker box, but considering its thin body, it has nice tone and volume when unplugged, and a nice warm jazz tone when amplified. Washburn HB15C is also in my guitar collection albeit only two so far. Amazing for novice and professional. Highly recommend for anyone looking for this style of guitar.
The Washburn HB15 with florentine Cutaway. Hollowbody guitars are typically lighter and more resonant than their solid body counter parts. This gives a somewhat mellower tone to the guitar making it well suited to Jazz, Blues or rock. Includes a solid maple block in the centre, increasing sustain and reducing susceptibility to high feedback in high volume situations. The guitar features a stylish tobacco sunburst gloss finish with chrome hardware, a hard Maple neck with a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard, as well as vintage mini humbuckers and Grover exclusive 18:1 chrome tuners.
