Polk County has a garbage disposal facility, "Polk County Citizens Collections Station", on Hwy 190 and the corner of Walding Road, approx. 5 or 6 miles from CC, phone: 936-327-6829, hours 6am to 7pm seven (7) days a week. If you need directions please call the InfoCenter or Office and we can give you detailed easy directions. For those of you that are weekenders this location is probably on your way home to Houston or in that direction.
