Institut Joan Solà (Torrefarrera, Catalonia)

Our school is in Torrefarrera, Catalonia. The Institut Joan Solà was founded in 2010. Now we are 27 teachers and at the moment we have 280 students. They are between 12 and 16 year old. We are bilingual and all speak Catalan and Spanish fluently. Our students learn English and French as foreign language and also do topics in curriculum subjects like Science, Social Sciences and Technology, as well as optional subjects such as Drama, Mythology and Gardening through English.

Our school has students with very different abilities, a few of whom have physycal or sensory disabilities. We also have students from different countries: China, Morocco, South America, Africa and Eastern Europe.
