The title of the partnership is:
Increased understanding of production and consumption of energy in Europe, with special focus on electrical energy.
Countries involved in the partnership are Sweden, Austria and France and it will involve students in high school (gymnasium), second and third years. One of the objectives of any project is to increase students'understanding of how electrical energy can be produced and the issues around this, and based on how the electrical energy produced in the different countries, through water, wind, nuclear, geothermal, and oil ,coal, natural gas. Although a practical component students have knowledge should be included in theproject, including construction of a simple electric generator, wind turbine or a water wheel. Hopefully the project will be subject to increase student motivation to study and perhaps also for further studies inscience and engineering. Another objective of the project is to increase students'and teachers' skills andknowledge to use and communicate through digital media (email, videoconferencing, blogs, powerpoint, websites), and to do so in English and increase their language ability. One idea is the students during the exchange will be allowed to carry one or two days work related activities in an enterprise in the hostcountry.
