Build Log (Part 4)

When we last left our heroes... So last time I worked on this project I had everything in place and then dropped a hammer on the keyboard encoder. I didn't have the patience at the time to start tracing out the circuit board and find out what was actually broken. Anyway I found a couple free hours last night and so I set about repairing the board. Three new wires later, everything was fixed. And then I turned it on... and an hour and a half later, I'd set the high score in Galaga and it was time for bed.

Now there's just some finishing work to do on this project. I still haven't worked out how to effectively degauss the TV. And then there's the painting, and getting the glass cut and mounted. But as they say over at BYOAC, once you get it playable you never get any of the other stuff done!
