News from the Barrett Lab:

(April '26) We're excited to welcome Aidan Phillips as the newest member of the Barrett Lab. Aidan comes to us from Tangled Bank Conservation, and will be working on bog turtle and green salamander conservation in western North Carolina as part of a larger Clemson - US Forest Service partnership to aid recovery following Hurricane Helene.

(April '26) Thanks to Hannah Meredith for another semester of fantastic mentorship in our Box Turtle Creative Inquiry. Her team will be presenting on their box turtle behavior research this month as part of Clemson University's Focus on Creative Inquiry poster session. 

(December '25) Congratulations to Josh Holbrook, who graduated with his PhD in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. Josh's dissertation explored the environmental features that promote fish colonization in isolated wetlands, and what happens to the ecological community when fish arrive.
