Publication summary

Clement Yuen has published 1 patent and 5 invention disclosures, 1 invited book chapter, 33 international technical journals papers (15 first-author papers), and 25 conference papers (1 keynote, 1 invited, and 1 awarded for sponsorship). His publications have been cited for over 1700 times, with a H index of 22, and an i10-index of 28 (google scholar generated on 24Oct2023). His malaria test kit received interviews by NTU Comm, the Channel News Asia (CNA) and a series of other media including Phys.org, Scienmag, etc. His microneedle-based enhanced Raman work has been featured in Advanced Science News, and the editor's choice in Journal of Biophotonics (Vol. 7, Issue 9, 2014). His previous ZnO work has also been highlighted in the "Newsbreaks" of Laser Focus World (Vol. 40, Issue 2, 2004).


Mentoring/Teaching summary

Clement Yuen has been teaching a university course “Signal Processing in Biosystems” in the fall semester. For students’ feedback on teaching, he received an average score of 92/100 in lectures and tutorial classes (mean 85 for our school). For mentoring experience, he has also been working closely with a final year project student per year on average since his PhD candidature.
