Hi! I am currently an Assistant Professor at Erasmus School of Economics, Rotterdam.

My work borrows from economics and marketing research to study how social inequalities, gender discrimination and emotions affect customer purchase behaviors, customer-worker interactions, and firm performance. I answer these questions using natural/field experiments or quasi-experimental designs and apply those methods to large-scale consumer surveys, scanner data, proprietary private sector data and online datasets collected using web-scraping techniques (i.e. "Big Data") or made readily available (e.g. search, social media data).

Research interests: Behavioral Economics, Quantitative Marketing,  Causal Inference, Inequality, Gender, Emotions
