News
Sadly, we have recently learnt that Leigh Proudfoot died in San Diego on 30 May 2015. (See the home page for a link to his obituary.)
On a brighter note, Clem Furphy received an Order of Australia Medal for his service to health care and the Goulburn Valley community in the 2015 Australia Day honours list.
Proceedings
The chairmen read the apologies, and noted Leigh's death and Clem's OAM.
Len Stevens reported on the progress of the scholarship in his name and its recipients.
Murray Cullinan reported on projects -- the Good, the Bad, and the ... What? -- in Victoria.
The company congratulated Len Stevens on his recent 90th birthday.
Ken Ogden accepted the chairmanship for next year's dinner (the 49th), and there was agreement that the Kooyong Tennis Club -- delicious canapes on the terrace, followed by an excellent dinner in the Sir Norman Brookes Room -- was an excellent venue. (Norman Brookes (1877-1968) was the first non-Brit to win Wimbledon, in 1907.)
