Integrative Conservation Education

Ciudad SWCD in 2015 was awarded a grant from the NM Soil and Water Conservation Commission, through their Water Quality and Conservation Grants Program, to conduct a series of demonstration workshops to address the integrated management of conservation practices (forest thinning, surface water/erosion, noxious weeds and groundwater). In support of this effort, the District is seeking landowners who are interested in volunteering to host one of the workshops. Ideally, we will find a willing landowner in each of the three major ecoregions within the District: east mountains, valley and west mesa.
