Chromatography:
It is a set of techniques at the separation of mixtures. It is based on different stationary phases. Chromatography can be preparative or analytical. The purpose of chromatography is about the isolation of the components while analytical chromatography is about the measure of relative proportions in a mixture. Some of this techniques can be separate into planar chromatography where the stationary phase is placed on a flat plate, on a paper or on a column chromatography. In my project I will separate different dyes by using paper chromatography, a popular method used in research and industry to separate, isolate, and purify components of mixtures. Finally, chromatography has application in all branches of science.
