Christ Lutheran Church is committed to honoring God through worship in ways that are consistent with the liturgical tradition of the church. We utilize the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) book as well as With One Voice (WOV), as a primary resource.
We gather every Sunday morning at 11:00 AM around Word and Sacrament. Our worshipping location alternates with our sister congregation Galloway Memorial Episcopal Church in Elkin using the following schedule:
We meet at Galloway on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month.
We meet at Christ Lutheran on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.
Faith Formation is offered at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays preceding the service.
Coffee Hour is offered after service.
Additional festival services are held around such important occasions as Christmas, Good Friday, and Easter. Details can be found on our church calendar on the main page of this site.
