Weightlifting

The weight room is open to the public every Monday-Friday, from 5:00-7:00AM and 5:00-7:00PM.

In addition Chilton High School's nationally certified strength and conditioning coordinator, Coach Arendt,

runs an after school weight training program from 3:15 - 4:30 every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Summer weight training hours:

Monday-Thursday 5:00-7:00AM and 5:00-7:00PM - open to public

Strength/Speed/Agility/Conditioning/Flexibility - With Coach Arendt

Monday-Thursday 8:00-10:00AM OR 10:00AM -12:00PM - Chilton School District students only

If you need to prioritize your time, weightlifting needs to be your emphasis over specific skill development.

Weight training will help you in ALL of your sports. In basketball, strength/speed/quickness will make you a better defender,

stronger rebounder, increase your stamina, allow you to finish through contact, set physical screens, jump higher, get 50/50 balls, create more turnovers, handle double teams, rip through contact, and give you the confidence to be a 'tougher player.'
