After School Programs - Cathy Stayton (CathyStayton@gmail.com) This committee coordinates and manages the after school programs available to all Cherry Lane students. Golf, Madscience, Karate, Storybook, Art, Homework, Chess, Board Games, Tennis, Songs4U, Magic and Yoga are some of the exciting activities offered.

Appreciation - Kim Gigante (kgigante17@hotmail.com), Jeanine Roemer (jeanineroemer@gmail.com), Krista Quinn (kristajquinn@aol.com) The Appreciation Committee gives back to all those that help make the lives of our children better. For example, the committee sponsors luncheons and provides holiday treats for the Cherry Lane teachers and staff. This group also acknowledges the hard work of the bus drivers, cafeteria employees, school nurse and administrative assistants on their respective days of recognition.

Book Fair - Jennifer Marchesani/Christine Gigante (jlgm30@yahoo.com, pachito5@aol.com)

This committee organizes the book fair in the Spring for all Cherry Lane Students.

Box Tops - Jeanine Roemer (jeanineroemer@gmail.com)

This committee collects and organizes all Box Tops for Education throughout the year providing additional funding to our PTA.

Cultural Arts - Allison Hirsch (allisoncipris@gmail.com), Lauren Van Eck (laurens039@aol.com), and Jeanine Roemer (jeanineroemer@gmail.com)

One of the main purposes of the PTA is to provide rich cultural experiences for our children. The Cultural Arts committee plans and implements educational cultural events for our children. Some programs that have been planned in the past are: Author Visits, Child's Play Theatre, Robotics, Outragehiss Pets and High Touch High Tech.

Father's Day Breakfast - Krista Quinn (kristajquinn@aol.com)

Responsible for organizing both Father's Day breakfasts.

The Fifth Grade Committee- Nicolina Deraco (Nicolinap17@gmail.com) and Cathy Stayton (cathystayton@gmail.com)

The Fifth Grade committee organizes and coordinates activities and events for the graduating class.

Fundraising - Melissa Gelardi (m360@earthlink.net)

The Fundraising committee is responsible for generating funds which allow our PTA to sponsor events for our children throughout the year. Some fundraising activities that have been planned in the past have been the: Election Day Bake Sale, Holiday Boutique, Book Fair, Plant Sale, and Original Artworks sales.

Health and Wellness - Julia Jaffee (juliajaffee@me.com)

The health and wellness committee is responsible for identifying and resolving health and wellness issues in our school.

Holiday Boutique - Annemarie Lucia (amarm@optonline.net)

Coordinates ordering items, setting up, organizing volunteers.

Mother's Day Plant Sale - Kim Gigante (kgigante17@hotmail.com)

Orders plants, collects orders and organizes volunteers for full day plant sale.

Membership - Allison Paul ( ) and Dawn Contreas ( ) The membership committee is active August through June. Responsible for keeping records of all members, distributing cards and collecting dues.

Picture Day - Jennifer Marchesani/Christine Gigante (jlgm30@yahoo.com, pachito5@aol.com) The committee for picture day organizes school picture day for the entire school and is responsible for picture re-take as well.

Reflections - Christine Gigante (pachito5@aol.com)

Reflections is a cultural arts program sponsored by the national PTA that allows students to display their creative talents based upon a chosen theme.

Spirit Wear - Lauren VanEck (laurens039@aol.com) Responsible for organizing, selling and distributing Cherry Lane Spirit Wear

Yearbook - Beth Ruggiero (bruggiero78@gmail.com)

The Yearbook staff collects and takes photos, edits and lays out the yearbook. This is the perfect committee for anyone who wants to use their creative skills.
