Supporting Beginning Teachers

On September 17, 2025, the Alpha Pi Chapter provided cookies at the Chatham County Schools Beginning Teachers Meeting in Pittsboro. Receiving the donation is Alpha Pi Member Norma Boone, Executive Director for Teacher Induction and Title II  for Chatham County Schools.

Over 30 beginning teachers attended the orientation workshop that is the start of their support throughout the school year.  Chatham County Schools is committed to providing professional development that will ensure student success.
