Pair Scramble;
1. Each pair will play a two-person Scramble. This means both players tee off and select the best tee shot. They both use this location for their second shot. They will repeat this process until the ball is holed. Men on gold tees and ladies on the green tees.
2. They will record their score in relationship to par. This means if they birdie the hole they enter a -1, if they par the hole they enter a 0 and if they bogey the hole they mark a +1 or higher. Double Par is the maximum score.
3. They total their round by adding each hole’s recorded score. Remember the total score is in relationship to par.
4. Depending on the number of players teams are generated randomly. Each team will have two or more pairs and each pair’s score will be added together. The team with the lowest cumulative score wins the pot. An example is; 60 players sign up and play. The coordinator randomly generates either 10 teams of 6 players (three pairs) or six teams of 10 players (five pairs) depending on the number of courses played. Each pair’s scores are entered on a spread sheet and the team with the lowest commutative score is the winner. If possible each team will have an even number of pairs that played on different courses.
5. CTTP competition for each group. If we have two groups playing, then we will have two winners (Men/Women) per group.
6. Special scoring techniques are used for odd number of pairs.
